Marble

Marble is a stone that has been mined since ancient times. The history of marble mines goes back to the 3rd century BC in Greece, the 7th century BC in Turkey (Anatolia) and the 1st century BC in Italy. We can see historical monuments, statues, temples and mosques made of metal. Marble is a stone that emerges as a result of the metamorphic transformation of carbonate stone. The resulting marble stone consists of intertwined carbonate crystals.
